I'm very interested in your project, and I like your idea about wireshark very
much. But I got some problem here and your help is appreciated .
I'm trying to connect following env:
MC1322x(Running BeeStack) <----> ubuntu(Running linux-zigbee-2.6.32 version)
What I did are:

1). sudo izattach /dev/tty1
2). iz listphy
...
wpan-phy1 IEEE 802.15.4 PHY object
page: 0 channel: n/a
channels on page 0: 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26
3). sudo iz add wpan-phy1 wpan1
-----------------------
Note:Because no mwpan1 or wpan-phy1 show up in ifconfig result, ip link is
unavailable. Instead I found iz add can add wpan-phy1 as wpan1.

4). ip link list --> wpan1 show up in ifconfig
...
5: wpan1: <BROADCAST,NOARP> mtu 127 qdisc noop state DOWN qlen 10
link/[804] 00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
5). sudo ip link add link wpan1 name pan1 type wpan
RTNETLINK answers: Operation not supported

As above, I got problem when I was trying to ip link wpan1
Above steps are different from the instructions in your Linux-zigbee homepage,
could you please tell me whether I did it right or not?
Also, I tried following steps right now:

6). izconfig wpan1 short 01:01
$ izconfig wpan1
wpan1 IEEE 802.15.4 MAC interface
HwAddr: 00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00
Flags: broadcast noarp
MTU: 127 TxQueue: 10 PAN ID: 0001 Addr: 0001
7). sudo ifconfig wpan1 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Resource temporarily unavailable
======================================================
It looks like serial.c need to change some logics as START_BYTE to
communicate with Freescale BeeStack.
But because I don't understand the root cause for ip link failure,
I need to make it clear.
