Hi!
I'm so excited that linuxsampler has been
ported to OS X.
         I'm having trouble getting started...I'll
start with the basics. Anyone know where I can get
Pete Yandell's Midi Patchbay? The link is down on his
site, on the mac.com mirror, and everything else
(hitsquad, versiontracker, macupdate, softpedia, etc.)
link to one of those two sources. I can't even find
the source to compile (but would prefer a binary
anyway).
I've used the apple IAC driver for loopback
patching before, and tried enabling it, but I can't
figure out which COREMIDI device to use (they're
numbered, not named, I think).
Also, maybe this has been said already, but
just a note that for Jack to work on intel macs I'm
pretty sure you need to open Audio MIDI setup and go
to Audio > Open Aggregate Device Editor and create an
Aggregate Device for Jack to use, and set it up in
Jack as well. That's what the Jack manual says anyway,
I don't know because I haven't gotten it working yet.
:)
          Thanks!
          Jordan
