Andreas,
when I did the testing with jackd-0.109 I overwrote the newer installation with
a fresh make install, and I always use the same prefix. And I re-did the same
thing with 0.116.2 afterwards.

Just checking: are you 100% sure that when you're trying 0.116, both the
linuxsampler binary and the jackd
