The simplest setup would be to send midi from ardour to your second
computer, then audio from linuxsampler back to your ardour station.
You second computer would act as a standard hardware expander/sampler.
You only need a soundcard on each computer.

Just wondering if any of you have a multi-computer setup. I'm hoping to
have one computer running Ardour, and a second primarily running
Linuxsampler. I can use either OSX or Linux, so am just wondering if
