Which midi messages does Fantasia send for a note-off event after releasing
a key on the keyboard from its main screen?
I tried with midi-ox but that did not work.

Hi all,
The name of the program suggests it creates gig files from samples.
Does it edit gig files?

Another situation is that creating one track with the Linuxsampler plugin
allows the user to add more than 16 instruments. Attached the result from
that action.
