no, it doesn't, it just creates them. But there is gigedit (see
https://linuxsampler.org/) for that. Actually, I use gigedit to
evaluate the created gigs.
You can also create new gigs with gigedit, but when dealing with a
large number of samples, this can be cumbersome...
