Release candidate 1 (for epic4-2.0) is now available at:

This is the final version of the software (barring any last minute
bug fixes), and this release, plus any amendments thereunto, will
be the final epic4-2.0 release. You may now test this release candidate
for any bugs.
There will be a 72 hour waiting period after this release before a motion
to hold a vote of confidence will be accepted. After the motion is made,
a Poll of Vote of Confidence will be sent to this mailing list. In that
poll, you will be asked whether or not you have personally tested the
release candidate, and whether you have found it to be materially defect
free as far as you know of. If you find any material defects, you are
strongly urged to file an objection to the vote of confidence, and there
will not be an epic4-2.0 release until you are satisfied.
The vote of confidence will stay open until 15 people vote "yes" that
the release candidate is defect free, and 0 people vote "no", or until
72 hours pass, whichever takes longer. After that, there will be a 48
hour waiting period for people to get one last chance to test stuff.
After that, epic4-2.0 will be released.
