According to the schedule which we have been following, a new EPIC4
production release is scheduled to be released after 6 months to fix
any minor problems in epic4-2.0; or whenever a critical show-stopper
bug is found; whichever comes first.

The latter has not yet happened, but there have been several of the
former. It's been 5 months, so that gives us a month to collect all
of the nits we'd like to pick with epic4-2.0, submit them to me, and
I'll try to fix whatever I can, and we'll start a new voting cycle.

I would prefer that everybody be decent about this, and only report
the things that are really minor problems. Things that are too big
should really be handled as an epic5 project. Here are examples of
things which have come up:

* Crash using TOGGLE_STOP_SCREEN (^S) when hardware flow control is off.
* $stripcrap(ALL,-BOLD) incorrectly mangles bold
* Not able to bind the 255 character.
* /SET INDENT fails when indentation level is > 1/3 of the screen width

there are other such things that are minor, that people have asked me
to fix. If you know of any such problems, start collecting them, and
forward them onto me.

When I have everybody's REPORTED problems fixed, I'll submit a release
candidate and issue a call for votes of confidence. When that vote
passes, we'll have a production maintainance release.

Jeremy

P.S.
Anyone who was foolish enough to participate in a betting pool on when
the next production release would be was clearly not paying enough
attention when I said "6 months or first critical bug, whichever comes
first" a zillion times :P
