This is an awful non-solution. Don't do that.

I would start with Google. First hit:
http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Blocking_websites
And it's straight from the pfSense FAQ.

[pfSense] (no subject)

2012-10-03 Thread Gagan VERMA
Hi All,

This is to inform you that our organization is using *pfSense 2.0.1-RELEASE
(amd64) * from last six months and is very helpful solution for our org.
* *
But there is a concern that Gmail and Facebook uses https port to open
site. In our organization policy we can allow only Gmail not Facebook, when
I block https port than all https sites gets blocked. Kindly suggest the
proper solution.

[pfSense] natting udp -- has this been cured in the nightlies?

2012-10-03 Thread mayak-cq
hi all,

there have been quite a few discussions about issues of natting udp (in
particular sip) where packets just go missing.

i've run into this again, spent all day on it, and ould like to just
upgrade to get rid of this -- i'm running 2.0.1

are the nightlies stable, and has anyone run across natting udp issues
on the newer builds?

thanks

hmmm good idea...that is what I tried but I didnt see where I can assign a
static IP address to a road warrior. I am asking because I have spent more
than 2 hours googling and reviewing configs but nothing.

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure. I have used PPTP. It includes a user management. Maybe a
radius server.
