I haven't tried it but pfSense uses the exact same pam login process. So chance are pretty much as high as possible of it working. Typically packages are removed because they are no longer supported by the developer. > On Oct 16, 2015, at 1:11 AM, Walter Parkerwrote: > > Years ago, there was a package for pfSense that graphed total bandwidth for > the Day, Month, Year using bar charts. vnStat2 is still available and was actually recently updated. It is also quite accurate according to my ISP numbers and what it shows. It was vnstat2. In the package list, it said it was a console app. However, the app does have a web page that shows the graphs that I was remembering. Re: [pfSense] github.com/google/google-authenticator/ on pfSense 2.2x
I played around with Google Authenticator during the 2.1.x pfSense series. I had it working. You will also need this file: openvpn-auth-pam.so Normally, it is distributed as part of OpenVPN. The pfSense package did not include it during the 2.1.x series. I do not remember whether I built it myself or just snagged it from a compatible (enough) FreeBSD package. I've only ever used it for SSH logins when no public key is used, and only on FreeBSD servers (not pfSense). The only files you really need from the package are /usr/local/bin/google-authenticator /usr/local/lib/pam_google_authenticator.so The configuration for PAM is trivial too. Re: [pfSense] Bandwidth graph
It does however require that you correctly set your time zone either in its configuration file or in the php.ini configuration file otherwise the hourly graphs will not match your local time. Personally I changed my php.ini in /usr/local/etc date.timezone="Canada/Eastern" I believe it said GMT/GMT or something similar originally. You will need to restart the web frontend from the console (option 11 I think) once you do this otherwise the change will not take effect. Right in the top section of the config file.
