Last time I saw that it was an upgraded 1.2.3 setup that had the old OpenVPN status package, and there were conflicting management directives in the advanced options. If you have those, remove them. Checked. No advanced options in any of these 3 OpenVPN configurations. And this is a pfSense machine which started life with 2.01 in 2012 and got upgraded to 2.1 this september 2013. Though… I forced a change in each of these configs, saved, reverted the change and saved again, and since I did that I haven’t yet seen the reporting problem again. So it most likely was something odd in the configurations, cleaned by the forced change/rewrite of configuration. At least it looks that way. [pfSense] 2.1 - strange minor issue with OpenVPN
Dear all, Have you an idea what I should look for about this issue (see linked print-screen)? All my OpenVPN services report an error contacting the daemon, both on the status page (as in print-screen) and also on the dashboard page. Yet, all these services are running and working fine. This is only a status report issue between the services and the status screens. So nothing critical, but strange. I have another setup where I do not see such a behavior and I can’t get a sense of it. Any pointer welcome. https://www.dropbox.com/s/iydm2hgnmf2sv8p/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%202013-10-07%20%C3%A0%2015.15.11.png Thanks ! __ Olivier Mascia integral.be ___ List mailing list List@lists.pfsense.org http://lists.pfsense.org/mailman/listinfo/list
