What kind of ping times were you getting a week ago?
If you think the firewall is at fault, plug in another computer to the WAN
connection instead of the firewall and see what kind of ping times you get.
You could also try to run ping on the firewall itself either via shell or
via the diagnostics utility menu.
Most likely it is your ISP, not the firewall.
