The former company, Alfresco Design has recently been sold to WDG The largest web design company in Australia and as such we are looking at expanding our team in the Brisbane office. The applicant should have a particular interest in web standards / useability / accessibility and enjoy finding innovative ways to implement these in creative systems. The role would incorporate more interaction design rather than interface design (directly) and focus on the management of Presentation / Behaviour and developing best standards and re-usable components for these. You would need to know the usual array of programs (Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver) and prefer hand-coding xhtml/css/javascript. Additional knowledge and expertise in Flash would be a huge bonus and there is a possibility if you do know flash that you would be doing a fair workload of it. Work type and pay will depend on your experience/skills but there is an opportunity for both short term and long term development.
