[WSG] A case for standrardsin swedish education

2006-05-21 Thread Keryx webb

Hi

Being a liaison for WASP-EduTT to Skolverket (The Swedish National Agency for
Education - see http://www.webstandards.org/2005/09/10/wasp-welcomes-sweden/) I
have sent a letter to some people at this agency concerning new courses in Web
Design and Web Programming.

It is a plea for standards and accessibility but also for best practices in all
areas. Web 2.0 is mentioned in order to illustrate that we're not in the 90-ties
anymore.

I intended this document to be passed around in printed form, so I used
shudderMS Word/shudder. Anyway, it is available at http://keryx.se/wasp/ in
Word, Open Document and PDF-format. I've not had the time to make an HTML
version for the English translation, though.

I post this in case anyone might find the document useful.

Great, thanks Lars!

I'm sure we're going to be in a similar situation in WaSP ILG in
general, so having this is a good thing. I suppose you and Roger as
Svensk chargés d'affaires could let this document circulate in the group.
