It does have to do with electricity... but not electricity alone. To make steam one needs water and heat. To make compressed air one only needs air compressors and batteries. Add a few Alternators and a few air motors and your set. This would eliminate the need for heavy boilers, and large amounts of water. A light weight, very powerfull, very fast, air powered vehicle that runs on electricity. It hasn't been built yet... but I have designed it. It is truely a modern day technology race.
