Re: [Littlesnitch-talk] ftp is trying to connect to...
Always on port 80. I am also getting a warning about curl trying to use port 80 as well. Isn't 80 the web sharing port? Will I be able to close this port, but still be able to use my computer's localhost websharing? thank you. One is just a plain domain, and another is a rather long h202.n179.cust.domain.net type address. . . . I am curious, though. I wonder if you tried to resolve any of the addresses that ftp wanted? . . . lahdyfreekindah @hotmail.com said the following on 05/01/2005 03:25 am: I just wiped my hard drive and re-installed everything yesterday. This is the windows filesharing client on macosx. On Jan 5, 2005, at 9:55 PM, Gregory Martinez wrote: I have just recently noticed something similar. Suddenly on booting up my iBook G4, when I got to the Desktop, a LS alert came up about something called smbclient wanting to connect to a particular Server. I had not launched anything and there have not been any changes recently to my iBook. Anyone know what smbclient is? It sounds strangely familiar to me. --- Greg Martinez [EMAIL PROTECTED] iMac 17 G4, 1GHz, OS 10.3.6, 768 MB RAM. iBook 12 G4, 800MHz, OS 10.3.6, 640 MB RAM.
