I just noticed a problem with the patch - the wave view "playing here" bar
isn't updated properly with the playback. My 10 minutes of looking through
that code didn't bring up an easy solution. I'll hunt through it a bit
more tonight to see if I can come up with something.

I would like this to be ready for the next Ubuntu release. I suppose even if
it must wait for the LTS it will be worth it. If it proves to be free of any
major bugs I might consider applying the patch myself, if it isn't incorporated
into the source in time.

It seems, the patch has been created against development version.
Could be possible for you to create it against regular 0.4.15 release,
and using standard "diff" tool - not git?
