"The VST-plugin could not be loaded for some reason.
If it runs with other VST software under Linux, please contact an LMMS

Great, thanks for the feedback everyone. Can't guarantee I'll have time
to implement this for 1.1, but I'll do it for 1.2 at least.

hardening measures include nothing about the database and I'm skeptical as
to your hypothetical recommendation in general.
A relational database engine can deny non-local authentication requests but
this is default in MySQL.

database level. On my forums i got spam registrations big time and as soon
as I made those changes, the spam registrations stopped completely. As
soon as I find it again I will send it to you guys for your feedback.

Is there a reason you are being vague?
Please work with myself and Lukas prior to making any database changes.

Done. (lmms.io registration).
Once DNS propagates around the globe, it should become active. It is set
up as a temporary forward to the sourceforge page.

On Mon,
Since it's been 5 days with no movement on this, I'm going to make the
purchase today. I will register the domain "lmms.io" using the gandi.net
service using lmms.serv...@gmail.com, an email forwarding account which
myself, LukasW and Johnathan all have access to (let one of us know if
