Ralph Goers resolved LOG4J2-997.

    Fix Version/s: 2.6.1

Fixed in master. Although I didn't use the patch to AbstractFilterable I did 
use the test class you created, after some modifications, so you are still 
getting credit for the fix.

Please verify and close.
