Hi all, unfortunately I had real-life interfere and was unable to devote as much time as I wanted to.
AFAICS the only things missing now are some updates to the NAnt build system to create the distribution files - which are different from what was packaged as 1.2.10 - and some updates to the site. I'll focus on getting the build infrastructure ready and intend to create some test builds from trunk for you to review by the weekend. If things go well we may be able to vote on the release sometime next week. As for site changes, I'd like to add a few FAQs. One along the lines of LOG4NET-274 (assembly load order may depend on DEBUG/RELEASE, ensure you have the attribute on correct assembly, log as early as possible). Another about why we now have two strongly named assemblies and which to use for what. LOG4NET-246 is lacking documentation but then I can't find the current documentation for the "log4net.Config" appsettings key at all. So we may need to add this somewhere on the configuration page. And then there is the release notes stuff which will basically be generated by JIRA with some additional notes about framework support - no binaries for CF 1.0 and SSCLI, new binaries for 4.0 and CP. Any input for the documenation tasks is more than welcome. Stefan
