Following the MSFT release yesterday - 
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dotnet/2016/09/26/introducing-net-standard/

It looks like this should be bumped to Net Standard 1.6
I did so locally and the build output is good, I'll PR back to this fork to 
hopefully get this PR updated.
