Ivan Habunek created LOG4PHP-219:
------------------------------------

Summary: Problems with the mongodb appender
                 Key: LOG4PHP-219
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4PHP-219
             Project: Log4php
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.3.0
         Environment: php 5.5. + mongodb driver 1.4.5
            Reporter: Ivan Habunek

The mongodb appender throws warnings when used with a newer mongodb driver.
This breaks tests.

1. On instantiating the MongoClient i get: "The 'timeout' option is deprecated.
Please use 'connectTimeoutMS' instead"

Line:
https://github.com/apache/logging-log4php/blob/develop/src/main/php/appenders/LoggerAppenderMongoDB.php#L274

2. When creating a capped collection i get: "This method now accepts arguments
as an options array instead of the three optional arguments for capped, size
and max elements"

Line:
https://github.com/apache/logging-log4php/blob/develop/src/main/php/appenders/LoggerAppenderMongoDB.php#L283

3. The following line does not display the exception message, and it really
should because the current message is not always true:

https://github.com/apache/logging-log4php/blob/develop/src/main/php/appenders/LoggerAppenderMongoDB.php#L283
