Re: Sunday's emergency social meeting?
Quoting dcross - David Cross ([EMAIL PROTECTED]): I'm hoping that the talk on Monday will finish early enough that we can retreat to a local hostelry for more general socialising. This finally gives an answer to a question I had, about why the talk is scheduled so early? Getting myself and Damian from Canary Wharf after his class ends at our place leaves about 20 minutes for dinner. It can't be that easy for other people as well... But now I understand! You just want to get into a pub before 11! I can see I have to adjust to english life still. I'll start right away with another publunch today. ;-) Cheers, -- Merijn Broeren | Sometime in the middle ages, God got fed up with us Software Geek | and put earth at sol.milky-way.univ in his kill-file. | Pray all you want, it just gets junked.
t-shirts
We've been talking about t-shirts on irc, and I think we should try to get some ideas together[1]. Some thoughts to start you off: Hash Bang Perl Pony::Pony PIMB (we've done this one) ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US Michael [1] disclaimer in advance: unofficial ideas, not a project of the london perl mongers group, not endorsed by anyone ever. server money
right, time to harvest some money so far i have two donation in hand, making 100 pounds, with another promised, so that makes 150 - a couple more and it would be more worth it (no point in debating again what to buy yet). so if there's any more people who'd like a prestigious account on the london.pm server, either send me a cheque, transfer the money into my account, or bring the money to the axkit talk tomorrow. 50 pounds each cheers, alex
