hello, Clement. thanks again for answering. as already seen in this mailing-list, you were right!
I made so many errors while trying to figure out how to configure the executable plugin that I also moved to another server and attempted so many times and ways that I ended up missing what I did not miss at the very beginning. the jar file was installed (by both the Debian and RHEL packages) and properly accessible (/usr/lib/lsc/lsc-executable-plugin-1.0.jar). in my last attempts I forgot to alter the environment to let LSC load the plugin ("JAVA_OPTS=-DLSC.PLUGINS.PACKAGEPATH=org.lsc.plugins.connectors.executable.generated"). to achieve my goal I slightly modified the lsc-executable-add-modify-delete-modrdn.pl script: - when modifying, update data as usual; - when deleting, set the LDAP "deactivationAttribute" attribute; - when inserting, . check: if the record already exists, remove it (it was probably deactivated) . add the record; (- "modrdn" is not a case, in our scenario). [I attach it for the records] thanks for the great (and cheap ;-) product and for the very effective support. best regards, roberto benedetti ----- Original Message ----- > > > Le 13/10/2016 à 15:57, Roberto Benedetti a écrit : > > hi, Clement. > > please enclosed find the new lsc.xml file. > > > > I thing I'm missing something evident to anyone but me. your help > > is really appreciated. > > > > Sorry, > > looking at the documentation it seems you were right to set LDAP as > connection reference. > > The error you get is because the plugin cannot be loaded.
