Dear All,
I've tried to compare K12LTSP-6 with Ubuntu 7.04+LTSP-5 on the same system.

Another question: Is it different on the performance if I install

Hi folks,
I'm still looking for a way to keep monitors from switching off (I guess
it's DPMS that does it) when only KDM shows. (Once the user is logged
in, it's easier to prevent this.)
Once upon a time, on our old and current server, I got this fixed, but

Hi list,
we are using a lot of Thin Clients like the HP e-pc 40 or Compaq IPaq, which
all have an Intel i815e graphics adapter on board.
Using a resolution of 1024x768 leads to 75 Hz on our CRTs and TFTs - fine so

Now we got 19 Wide screen TFTs that should be run on 1440x900, which is too

Craig,
Thank you for taking the time to reply. Let me provide some more
information to see if I can describe the problem in more detail.
SCREEN_01 with startx, shell, etc... works fine and as expected. The
problem I'm having is getting SCREEN_01 to run rdesktop as default.
Now if I get into
How about starting rdesktop directly from shell?
