Hi all!
Is is possible to start an LTSP-Workstation as an remote application on a
thin client?
I can setup a "Remote Application" with:
rsh -l [USER] [HOST] [COMMAND] -display 192.168.0.12:0
I can fill in USER, HOST and COMMAND in the menu!?
Stupid question or possible

Dear Norbert,
I´ve deleted everything with *DCOP* and *KDE* in the user home and never
locked in with the same user login again :-).

Hi Norbert,
do you login twice with the same login? I´ve had nearly the same problems
when I do that!

Hi all!
I would like to use Mozilla with KDE 3.0.5 on LTSP, but if I open an link of
an .jpg-file, Mozilla always asks what application I would like to open the
picture, even when I set an application in KDE and Mozilla. I´ve always to
open the advaced dialog, to select the application again.

Hi Gabriel,
I´ve also asked this question a few days ago, my users do the same... John
Karns answered me:
It didn't work under xdm until I modified /etc/pam.d/xdm to include
limits:
#%PAM-1.0
auth required pam_unix.so nullok #set_secrpc
account required pam_unix.so
password
For what is the line with pam_devperm.so? Is it a must?

Hi Luis,
if money doesn´t matter I would also prefer SCSI, but in my last project
I´ve used a 3ware 8 channel RAID controller, to build a RAID 10 array. Fast,
lots of space and a cheap solution. Perhaps you should have a look at that!?

Hi!
I´ve observed, if one user logs in twice or more times on different
LTSP-Workstations, KDE will not work for this user without errors.
What did I do wrong? I´ve tried to solve this with pam_limits, but that
doesn´t help.

Hi Helmut,
I had it working once, with a testversion, but I had no errors on RedHat 7.3
with Kernel 2.4.19, patched as shown on the Netraverse-website and Win98SE.
