Updating my own post: I booted my LTSP Term 1000 PXE (same/similar to the ebox 2300) using my LTSP 5 system (Ubuntu Gutsy). It booted, but was basically unusable. Boot time was around 2.5 minutes which I could deal with, but graphics were so slow that simply browsing the applications menu was

I see on www.disklessworkstations.com that the boot times for this thin client with LTSP 5 are pretty long. I tried it today and not only is the boot time long, but the graphics are extremely sluggish once logged in. Is this something that is expected to improve with further development of LTSP
