I suspect a call to tech support would do the same thing. Given the record of such software in the past, I would hesitate to use anything like that to set up an account. Good ol' Lavanet, they send you a sheet of paper with the info printed on it. Something's wrong that's preventing the pictures from being seen from a non-hawaiiantel website. This never used to happen when verizon was running it. Sounds like they are demanding a referer (sic). If everyone viewing your pictures would use Firefox with the RefControl extension, and set it to spoof the referer to hawaiiantel.com, you would have no problems ;). You might want to complain about that. If enough do, they might relax that restriction. -- Hawaiian Astronomical Society: http://www.hawastsoc.org HAS Deepsky Atlas: http://www.hawastsoc.org/deepsky

I complained to them about it (not specifically about the referer) twice but they claimed that there was nothing wrong with their system and everything was working fine. Wayne

Well, technically, that's true; there is nothing wrong with their system. They deliberately chose to make it that way. -- Hawaiian Astronomical Society: http://www.hawastsoc.org HAS Deepsky Atlas: http://www.hawastsoc.org/deepsky

Except that they imply that your new Hawaiiantel connection will run the same way as your old Verizon one did. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Wayne
