Hi, On my laptop, guvcview uses more RAM than cheese but it costs less CPU when I record video: guvcview: RAM ~50MB, CPU ~10% cheese: RAM ~33MB, CPU ~25% All for 1 minute recording. But guvcview is great, everything works fine, my video is slow and jerky when I record with cheese. Regards,

i386 ISO works for me in qemu as a livecd using  qemu -cdrom lubuntu-i386-20110227.iso The checksum test now passes, and and Try it without installing lets me do basic stuff ... minimal testing only, so far :) Next likely steps are:  (a) Look at why virtualbox is so unhappy with these ISO
