I believe I've never introduced myself to this mailing list so I'll do it quick.
My name is Alexander Andjelkovic [1] and I'm very interested in
artwork and design.

As for an IRC vote, I do not see that being helpful, we are pretty vocal on
the Mailing List, hopefully people not on our mailing list but following
lubuntu will pick up on the forum posting :)
