Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] ProxyGUI for Lubuntu first testversio n(lxproxy 0.1)
Hello everyone Can't download the package for testing, link is broken. -Original Message- From: Julien Lavergne gi...@ubuntu.com To: Leszek Lesner leszek.les...@web.de Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2010 00:53:19 +0100 Subject: Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] ProxyGUI for Lubuntu first testversion (lxproxy 0.1) Hi, Thanks for your work. I don't use proxy, so I'll be also interesting in feedbacks from users. But I'm still think that all those scripts should be in one place, to build a unified configuration program for LXDE / Lubuntu. I'm not sure having plenty of little configuration scripts is efficient. I hope to have some time after the Alpha 3 to gather them somewhere, but feel free to start it :) I could be a very good feature for Lucid +1. If someone wants to test it: http://zevenos.com/files/lxproxy_0.1ubuntu1_all.deb As I don't use a proxy I cant really test it. I followed those rules in getting proxy running: http://paste.ubuntuusers.de/397723/ I don't know if the password is necessary anytime. For now it is necessary (at least for the gui to work). have fun ;) ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

But the login window didn't take space as a password, it just returned to the user-choice. On the console i could login and change the pw. You should not be able to login with root with the login manager. Or maybe I don't understand what you mean ? Has sdl to many dependencies? if not, we could include that and write some easy games there. Not sure we will include games, well I didn't find good idea/example to include them properly. And sdl is still extra depends.
