Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Games
ok, then no cards game. I Think thats ok, three games are enough, so lets take xinv3d, tint and pacman. One more thing: maybe we could even include kind of an easteregg with our names, so when you open the run-Dialoge and type in lubuntu credits, a list of all the people who helped appears. 2010/3/13 Steve yorvik.ubu...@googlemail.com On Sat, 13 Mar 2010 00:05:51 -, Jo Gerb jo.ge.s...@googlemail.com wrote: We already had such a thread... tint is a simple tetris clone :-) but i also agree with lbreakout2. How many games should we include? 2010/3/13 神癒礁湖 rafaellag...@gmail.com Agree with Глушков. [Lubuntu-desktop] colour scheme
Hi, just been having a wander round the wiki page and came across the art-work section (I'm no graphic designer, btw !!) http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=13t=437start=100 I really do like the green, and second the comment about kubuntu is blue, xubuntu is blue Has the decision been made ? Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] colour scheme
About the palette I had formal instructions from Canonical, due to patent issues. It seems that Lubuntu name was registered by the Company and, in prevission of these kind of things (even when Kubuntu wasn't released), they published a hard graphical guide about possible derivatives. They didn't know that Ubuntu exploded, a few months after with customized distros. But if we want to keep in the family, and not being an orphan distro, we have to keep their recommendations. But the additional artwork items are another things. You can put a green wallpaper, or purple, or even black, while keeping design lines and respect to the original artwork (Lubuntu is a derivative from Ubuntu, and its artwork is a derivative too). And sorry, yes, we're in Artwork Freeze as well as Feature Freeze status. The popularity about a theme was made through the mailing lists, extracted from the Lubuntu Artwork Wiki pages. If anyone doesn't trust me or Julien Lavergne (and others) about the decission, I can make a list with names and their votes, received in my inbox. Anyway, the poll is (now, at the end): Dark blue / Light blue: 15 votes Light blue / Lime green: 9 votes attachment: firma_japo.png___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Disk formating, partition tool
Palimpsest seems OK, there are some problems, like the default windows too big for a eee 701 PC. But for a general use, it seems good. I'll add it to the next ISO for some feedback. [Lubuntu-desktop] Desktop File of Chromium needs to be fixed
As title, it only contains Categories=Network; and this is inadequate. This is what in google-chrome.desktop: Categories=Network;WebBrowser; MimeType=text/html;text/xml;application/xhtml_xml; Without this, libfm-pref-apps won't work. I'd suggest that we copy the content of google-chrome.desktop and add them to chromium.desktop, including translations.
