Don't remember where I found these tips, but they aren't mine! However, they
do work on my Aspire One.
Fan:
With A110 and UNR v9.10, (late 2009 release), the only thing needed to be
changed from the vanilla install is to edit /etc/modprobe.d/acerhdf.conf and
add the line: options acerhd
I don't know why it will not work, especially when the same function works
on my MSI Wind.
But I'm certain that Lubuntu also uses gnome-power-manager as its power
manager.
PS. You could try verbose mode of gnome-power-manager and redirect its
output to a file.
Do something like 'gnome-power-manage
I think he meant the bigger 'get lubuntu' link above the one that you have
replaced.
It leads to 'http://lubuntu.net/get%20lubuntu'.

I just wanted to point out the great job the devs did in helping me by
making a video of the way they improved this program for me.
It is now useful for making tutorials and will be made even better in
the future. They tell me the improved version will soon be in the
repos.

Hi,
I can't find this bug, but am sure the team are aware of it. When reporting
connect / disconnect with Wifi or Ethernet the notification area repeats the
error horizontally Adding an new entry each time a new notification.
