Awesome, I'll have a go at it as soon as I get back from taking my finals. On Mon, Jun 14, 2010 at 6:29 AM, Julien Lavergne wrote: > Hi, > > I just generated the first alpha of Lubuntu Maverick. [Lubuntu-desktop] Lubuntu Maverick Alpha 1
Hi, I just generated the first alpha of Lubuntu Maverick. Like other Alpha 1, you should be aware of those warnings : "Pre-releases of Maverick are *not* encouraged for anyone needing a stable system or anyone who is not comfortable running into occasional, even frequent breakage. They are, however, recommended for Ubuntu developers and those who want to help in testing, reporting, and fixing bugs." We are still very early in the development, so don't expect many improvements and too much stability. For new stuff, there is a sync process with Debian packages, and updates of the core Ubuntu packages. For now, nothing really new for Lubuntu specific. How to report bugs : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/ReportingBugs Torrent: http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/lubuntu-maverick-alpha1.iso.torrent Download: http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/lubuntu-maverick-alpha1.iso Md5sum: http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/md5sum.txt Regards, Julien Lavergne ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Hibernate/suspend doesn't work when closing lid

I didn't implement the disconnect script, but knowing to plug out the SD disk before closing the lid made my day! I think vanilla Ubuntu and UNR already has such a script/trigger which is why I didn't have the problem before. But for now, I can safely suspend or hibernate again. Thanks! :-) ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
