[Lubuntu-desktop] Ace of Penguin not showing cards
Just installed Ace of Penguin on Lubuntu 10.04, derived from the mini.iso. When it is started only a green square appears, no cards are displayed. Is there something else to install? or some setting I’m missing? -- Steve (Yorvyk) http://lubuntu.net ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Lubuntu Natty Alpha 1
Hi Julien, There is no control center (neither of the two mentioned in earlier emails). Nor could I find any in the lubuntu-desktop ppa. Sorry if I missed some useful information related to this, but what is the plan about a control center in lubuntu 11.04? Can you please just briefly summarize, sorry if I did not pay attention. thank you. I'll be more verbose later to describe new items and futur improvements, in an another mail. The Alpha 1 is a snapshot of the actual development, with minimum tests. Expect others breakages until Alpha 2. However, you can easily test it under virtualbox or qemu. == Know issues== * Black background : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-default-settings/+bug/684796 * In Install-only mode, the panel appear in the middle of the screen : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/684802 * Checking the CD fail * Start menu of the Live-CD is not correctly translated. * The splash screen on Live-CD session may fall-back to Ubuntu text one. * Installer doesn't install correct restricted packages. == Reporting bugs == You can find information on how to report bug on this wiki page : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/ReportingBugs == Download == Torrent: http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/lubuntu-natty-alpha1.iso.torrenthttp://people.ubuntu.com/%7Egilir/lubuntu-natty-alpha1.iso.torrent Download: http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/lubuntu-natty-alpha1.iso Md5 http://people.ubuntu.com/%7Egilir/lubuntu-natty-alpha1.iso%0AMd5: http://people.ubuntu.com/~gilir/md5sum.txthttp://people.ubuntu.com/%7Egilir/md5sum.txt Happy testing :) Regards, Julien Lavergne ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktophttps://launchpad.net/%7Elubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktophttps://launchpad.net/%7Elubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

Clearly the password is correct as I wouldn’t be able to log in and it works in a terminal. Try running: passwd and set it to something new to test No change I’m afraid. Users and Groups, along with Disk Utility accept the password but, Synaptic and Update manager don’t. So my original message about 'any program' was wrong. -- Steve (Yorvyk) http://lubuntu.net ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
