Thanks, fixed :) It was a bad copy/paste from nautilus test cases :)

I know that this requieres the existence of theme

You can change this font, check the Window Border in Lxappearance. But
yes, you need a second click :)

Neither.
I used the upgrade to 11.04 option on an old installation of dubious quality.
I have two machines on a KVMS and thought I'd switched to the new clean
installation. I've changed the theme to ozone on one machine so I can tell
which one I'm using. Sorry for the false alarm. I'll have a go with the
upgrade option again later, with a decent install of 10.10 to see if this still
happens.

All the other install options have been tried and appear to work OK. Although
I've not tried installing alongside Windows only another Linux install.

[Lubuntu-desktop] Update installer slideshow

2011-03-06 Thread Julien Lavergne
Hi,

We are in the process to update the slides for the installer (the
presentation of Lubuntu when you install it).

One of the goal is to switch to the same layout that the Ubuntu one,
with the arrows to navigate between the slides.

The code (still a work in progress, not need to report the artwork
doesn't match yet :)) is available here :
https://code.launchpad.net/~gilir/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/lp-729197

If you want to test the result, you can do the following :
- download the branch : bzr branch
lp:~gilir/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/lp-729197 slideshow
- cd slideshow
- Run the test : ./test-slideshow.sh
- Select lubuntu

If you think we should had more informations for people who install
Lubuntu, It's time :)
We have also the possibility to add screenshots. If you have nice ones
to propose, just send them all :)

Regards,
Julien Lavergne

I was supposed to be asking if the Lubuntu-Desktop PPA should be

 Repos.

I (consciously) created the ISO without any PPA-related entries in
sources.list, so as far as I can tell, we have everything in the Ubuntu
repos -- if you find something missing from the Alpha 3 CD, *please* let
me know what it is!

As Lubuntu moves (slowly!) towards full official acceptance into the
Ubuntu family, it is vital that we doing things in the Ubuntu way and
to Ubuntu standards as much as we possibly can. Other Ubuntu flavours
do not use PPAs by default, and Lubuntu should not do that either.

We *do* currently have lubuntu-meta (and so lubuntu-desktop) in the
*wrong* repo, it should be in universe not multiverse, but that is a
separate issue, see Launchpad bug #675169 for that. I would strongly
prefer that we can build ISOs without multiverse being enabled, before
we release the real 11.04 version, since Lubuntu is supposed to be 100%
free software.

2011-03-06 Thread (Rafael Laguna)
It would be gorgeous if GTP themes were compatible. But this means the
authors must include an Openbox folder within. But I think that we, LXDE
users, are less important than others (and not talk about WindowMaker,
FVWM-Crystal, etc).

If you have ideas, yes please :) Feel free to add them :)
But you should try to focus on important features, or some sensitive
and / or buggy parts of the application. No need to test everything.
