previous versions of Lubuntu. But now I can't do that any more in 11.04.

I think you could add a lightweight web browser and set its homepage to be a
local HTML page which displays some guide how to use the LiveCD or
recommends some lightweight applications for users to choose.

Sounds interesting. I would think that if you are leaving all other apps up
to the user you minus well leave the browser up to them as well.
