If they want a more advanced notification system, they can install
notify-osd, or xfce notifi

Because the author of notification-daemon drop the support for
configuration, for the version in 11.10.

On Lubuntu 11.04 which I'm still using until now, once you type
"notification-properties" in LXTerminal, it works.
On Lubuntu 11.10, it does NOT.
I searched in: /usr/share/applications and I found out that on 1
