At the time of the error I was already using OpenDNS and it wasn't able to
find lxde.org at that time. However, today I does again.

P.S.: Love OpenDNS as well for speed and reliability, I would recommend it
to others any day of the week.

Please help me check out the issue (Maybe the issue is in the proxy server I
can't touch: I got a proxy error). I tried to restart the web server but it
won't work.

When you get a DNS server failure, check to see that popular websites like
Google.com and Yahoo.com load. If they don't load either, then the problem
is probably on your end.

You can always experiment by changing your Primary and Secondary DNS from
"automatic" to either Google's DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS
(208.67.220.220,208.67.222.222) and seeing if they work.

I use OpenDNS and am very happy with the speed and reliability of it. It's
free. (Google is free, too.)

Hello everyone,

Any idea what is going on?

Network Error (dns_server_failure)

  Your request could not be processed because an error occurred contacting
the DNS server.   The DNS server may be temporarily unavailable, or there
could be a network problem.
I can't access lxde website and I can't access the forum. Please advise!
