I'm using Lubuntu 10.04 on my netbook, an Acer Aspire 110 with 512 megs of RAM, and it's generally a pleasure. I have one problem, though - the Java plugin seems not to be working in Chromium. I want to play Runescape, the MMORPG at www.runescape.com. What I'm getting is basically a blank

try: cd /usr/lib/chromium-browser/plugins; sudo ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/i386/IcedTeaPlugin.so Should be ok. Personally I use the .bin file from www.java.com as all the systems I'd need java on are 64bit. I then symlink the libnpjp2.so to the plugins folder and it works. Java

Hmm, at any rate it seems sun-java6-plugin is no longer in the repositories for lucid :-( You have to enable the partner repository Thanks! Chromium and Java works just fine with Sun's Java. It would be much nicer if it would work with icedtea and openjdk, of course. Hope the bug in
