Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Only one password request?
Do you mean using gksudo or sudo in command line?? Remember sudo is ONLY for command line apps and gksudo is for X based apps. -Andy (actionParsnip) On Mon, Jul 12, 2010 at 9:43 PM, Yorvyk wrote: > I noticed this before, but forgot about it. [Lubuntu-desktop] Only one password request?
I noticed this before, but forgot about it. When you open any app requireing sudo privilages you only get one go at the password. If you get it wrong you have to restart the app. This is true in both Lucid and Maverick. In X/Ubuntu you get several (three?) attempts, useful for clumsy typists. -- Steve Cook (Yorvyk) http://lubuntu.net ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
