Hey Lubuntu Mailing list.
Do we need sounds for a theme? I've released some music and stuff on a
few labels and have lot's of experience with this. If you guys want some
sounds themes etc let me know.

I experienced that, once removed PulseAudio, Audacious turned wild, and
need to reconfigure it via plugins (ALSA). Sound levels gone zero. It seems
that Pulse works fine with some apps, not with others.

I've had to adjust the mic balance in alsamixer to get the mic working on
my last few laptops. Seems to be a bug were both channels can't be at full
volume. It's pretty common for people trying to use Skpe with
Acer/Gateway/Packard Bell laptops

In Lubuntu 10.04 i was able to run Audacity and Jokosher for record
guitar+voice. Today Lubuntu let me down with those two programs!! Can't
record a single sound with the microphone!! Am I the only one experiencing
this? (in mswin it works, so it's not a hardware problem / the programs used
you have checked from alsamixer you dont have microphone muted or on low
level settings?
