[Lubuntu-desktop] Modifying files in Lubuntu

I need to modify /boot/grub/grub.cfg in lubuntu that I've set up in usb drive. But I found that it is not possible through lubuntu. I had to boot up kubuntu to edit it. What is the equivalent in Lubuntu for 'kdesudo kate' or 'gksudo gedit' ? -- Regards - Goh Lip

This is also my first time using slypheed, noticed 2 areas that could improve. o The reply to mailing list sends to sender instead. (have to resend my 2 previous messages). o When typing address, slypheed does not auto-fill; (nice feature to have, otherwise may type address wrongly). Hope

I installed Lubuntu and ubuntu 10.4B on the same laptop, Ubuntu 10B detected and installed the hardware drivers for the system, Lubuntu did not, even after I started Jockey manually, no HW detection. Anyone else notice this? Thanks Glen ___ Mailing
