Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Desktop, trasparency and LXTerminal
Thank you Julien. I tried to compile it in Lubuntu 10.10, but cannot satisfy some dependencies. So I prefer to wait for the next release of Lubuntu. Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Desktop, trasparency and LXTerminal
Thank you, this conky is very fun, and i have a good news for you. I believe there is no bug on conky , neihter on lxpanel too. The secret is the middle button of the mouse (in my netbook there isn't, so i tried with usb mouse). When you hide the conky (or other windows), after you can restore it by clicking the mouse's middle button on desktop. A menu appear and you can restore conky. Surely there is a way for to change this option. I mean , instead of to use the the mouse's middle button, we can use a short-key (how??). Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Desktop, trasparency and LXTerminal
Sorry for delay i was busy. 1. I already tryied it but not works. One day i've installed nautilus and ... PUF! It works. if i reboot, i see blank background, then i execute "nautilus" inside LXTerminal and background appears. I believe it works when the GUI is under gconf control. 2. Yes, i'm searching the path were the image file is stored. After, i can make a simple menu with bash script. Lxcc 2011/3/20 Medical-Wei : > 1. It is under the background settings. 1. It is under the background settings. (You can see transparency in the color choosing dialog) 2. As far as I know (long times ago), LXTerminal doesn't provide custom background image. 2011/3/18 Vincenzo - Lxcc > > One mere thing about LXTerminal: > 1. Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Desktop, trasparency and LXTerminal
Hi, Your screenshot is conky application - http://conky.sourceforge.net/. You can find many many existing configuration files of conky on internet, pick one, learn and design your own :). It's my favourite application. But there is a bug, you can't use "minimize all windows" button on lxpanel when using conky, because when you click that button, conky is hidden and you can't restore it.
