Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Slypheed

This is also my first time using slypheed, noticed 2 areas that could
 improve.
o The reply to mailing list sends to sender instead. (have to resend my 2
 previous messages).
o When typing address, slypheed does not auto-fill; (nice feature to have,
 otherwise may type address wrongly).

Hope this input helps, (I am not complaining :) )

 Regards - Goh Lip

Instead of typing here about sylpheed you may see TODO-list designed for its
developers: http://sylpheed.sraoss.jp/en/todo.html
There are a lot of more features to improve/add than you specified. It is
not a problem of lubuntu team, by the way.

Michael

Okay, will do, understood. Thanks for the link.

I did not see the 2 issues on the ToDo list, so I've registered and sent
message on mailing list.
Is there a bug-report for Slypheed I should send to instead?
Also, is it just me or are you also having these problems too? If it is just
me, I don't mind reinstalling slypheed.
ps: I don't read japanese.

Sylpheed does autocompletion, it's a bit hard to find, but it reminds me a
terminal behaviour:

- Put the cursor at address field
- Type the three first letters of your contact
- Now press TAB and a list will be displayed for choosing
- Select one and press ENTER, that's it

Easy and funny, eh? I recognise that it's a bit different from Evolution.

I restarted slypheed and Voila!, the 'reply to mailing list' now works.
Sorry for the noise, guys, should teach me not to go 'shooting off the hip' and
need to recheck and verify first.

Apologies to all.

ps: but now, I've to reply to all to get the lubuntu mailing list on it. :(

I noticed that when there is an attachment, usually of a html nature, the
reply to mailing list' will be sent to the sender and not to the mailing list.
However, if the sender uses only plain text, then 'send to mailing list' will
work.

Just need to watch out for it.
