Hi John, The tool I use to make a bootable use is mkusb developed by Nio Wiklund here is a thread about it on the forums, and how to do it via PPA http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1958073 He also has an alternative installer with a prebuilt tarball for Lubuntu for a different method!
