Thanksgiving did slow me down, so there is hope.
On another note, are there any committers that are still interested in
committing? If there aren't, obviously that's a major roadblock. Can we
create new committers relatively soon?

Makes sense to me. It just seems like this call went out to save Lucene.Net,
and there was some initial activity, but since then it seems to have really
dropped off.
There is no way we'll make any end of year deadline with the current activity
level. I'm hoping it's just thanksgiving that is
I got bored with being the only committer who tries to answers the user's
questions and making commits to keep the project alive.
So, I continue (for now) to answer some question on mailing lists but
stopped committing months ago.

As I understand it, only the official Lucene.NET "committers" (DIGY, George
Aroush, and Doug Sale) can commit alterations to the web site or the source.
