Has anyone suggested that "Now O Now" and the Frogg Galliard might be

Francis, Duke of Anjou? After all, she called him her "frog".

I'm sorry, the IPA symbols seem to have gotten messed up! Rs were
mostly pronounced as alveolar approximants (the "pirate" R) in
Elizabethan London, as opposed to alveolar trills or alveolar taps.

called "historically informed
pronunciation".
I'd also note that the "r"s of Elizabethan London would not have been
rolled, but would have been pronounced as the "pirate r", [ù], and
not the trill or tap ([r] and [þ] respectively.)
any water. Show us actual research that supports your
claims.
But most of all, please stop addressing the list as though we are all
"fools".

for baroque lute, I saw Elizabeth Kenny perform TWO recent theorbo
commissions at the LuteFestWest, and there's certainly more examples I
just can't think of at the moment.
As soon as I can afford to do so, I intend to commission some works for
myself to play.

I bought one just like it from La Mi Cinta Dorada for my 8-course.

I like it a lot. It really does help keep the instrument more stable
than a traditional strap.
