A curious discovery in Cosens (for me, at any rate): f. 34r and f.35v have the exact same untitled piece, but in different hands. The two are identical, no changes from one to the other that I see. Why? Did he loan his book to someone who copied in a "new" selection? Cur

Is there available a good facsimile of Cosens lutebok (GB-Cu Add.3056)? The one available from Scribd is not all that clear (high contrast B/W), and I'm not sure it can be downloaded from the Cambridge U site. Any sources or ideas? Thanks, Leonard Williams -- T

Hi all, I was looking through the description of microfilms available from the LSA after reading through Nordstrom's book "The Bandora: Its Music and Sources" and found a source not listed by Nordstrom: [0065] Add. Ms. 3056. The "Cosens Lutebook". French tab for 7 course lute and
