Hello - I need to hire a lute for a week when I go to the States towards the end of October. I will fly in to NYC (probably Sun 26th Oct) and then go on to Philadelphia, so could pick it up from either area, but will be travelling on public transport, so couldn't get anywhere too remote. It could be a 6-, 7- or 8-course lute, ideally pitched at F# or lower. It's for a performance, so I'm hoping for a nice, professional-standard instrument. Does anyone have such a lute to hire out, or know who I might contact to this end? Many thanks Helen
